South 2 Cluster embarked on a nature trail at Berlayer Creek Mangrove Trail on 1st June 2012. We started the trail from the entrance of the Berlayer Creek (beside Labrador Park MRT station). The air was cool due to the early morning rain which stopped just before our trail began. For most of us, it was the first time visiting the place. The members were excited as we explored the diverse range of mangrove flora and fauna found all around us. At the Bukit Chermin boardwalk, we enjoyed the beautiful views of the Keppel Harbour and its surroundings. Our leisurely stroll soon took us to the public promenades at Keppel Bay where the greenery and sight was breath-taking. We had a relaxing morning indeed.
This HIW activity has further bonded the cluster members together. We are definitely looking forward to our next outing.
